Sneak Attack intricacies?

In answer to my own questions...

In NWN can rouges sneak attack with any weapon or only rouge weapons?
I know in 3E any proficient weapon can be used in a sneak attack, but

didn't

know if this was also the case for NWN.

A monk/rouge can sneak attack with unarmed strike, mind you that don't mean
a fighter/rouge can sneak attack with a great flail, but I think I'll go
test that 1 out...

Can muliticlass rouges use other class abilities in a sneak attack?
I'm primarily thinking of monk special attacks, but there may be other

As far as monks go yes, so preusmably any equivalents work too.

Does a sneak attack have to be a plain attack?or can you do a sneak power
attack or a sneak knock down for example.

Well you can do a sneak knockdown so logic dictates that you can do a sneak
power attack

What if your using cleave, and you cleave into an enemy whose back is to
you? Cleave sneak attack?

That remains to be seen.

Yep I think your right, been testing things out, and it seems so.

Can't engineer the cleave thing, but I expect it works.

Have they resolved the issue for 3.5?

Though you can only really abuse the system in compouter RPGs cos any DM on
table top is unlikely to tolerate any unjustified nonsense multi-classing.

In many ways, yes. The classes are much less front-loaded. Still not
perfect, though.
